I thought it worth mentioning that this evening (October 25th) on the VSBN (Virginia Sideband Net) we had traffic passed from KI4YV to KI4JQB. KI4YV, Bob from Love Valley, NC is 84 years old and has been licensed since he was 14 years old. John. KI4JQB from Fairfax, is 12.5 years old and has been licensed just a little over a year. So we had traffic moving over a span of amateur radio experience of 72 years. Quite remarkable I'd say. Since the only thing that was apparent was that a traffic message was moved efficiently from one station to another, I get a real charge from knowing the rest of the story, and thought you might also.
